DSEK terminates 4 teachers

SRINAGAR Nov 21: The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK) has terminated the service of 4 teachers from different Kashmir districts for remaining absent from their duties.
The teachers who have been terminated include Alka Tak who was working as a teacher at MS Moran Tangwari in Baramulla, Rubeena Kakroo from MS Pir Mohalla, Baramulla, Waseem Gull from BHS at Nunner Ganderbal and Ajay Bhat who was working as a teacher at HS Dalwach in Anantnag.
As per the termination order that was issued by the DSEK, all four teachers were found unauthorizedly absent, prompting the authorities to take action in this regard.
All these teachers-after the issue of their absence came to the fore-were asked to submit the reasons for their absence; however, the DSEK in the order issued here said that the reasons given were not satisfactory.
It is to be noted here that Alka Tak has been absent from her duties since 2015, Rubeen Kakroo was been found to be habitual of unauthorized absence, Waseem Gull was found to be absent from duties from 2014, while Ajay Bhat has been found absent from 2019.
