JAMMU, Mar 19: Education Department today regularized the services of 105 Rehbar-e-Taleem who have completed their five years service in the pay scale of Rs 5200-20209 with grade pay of Rs 2800 for graduates and Rs 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs 2400 for under graduates.
An order to this effect was issued by Director School Education, Smita Sethi here.
The Government however has kept certain conditions for the regularization which included that the ReTs must have completed un-interrupted and continuous five years service and also ensure that they were engaged genuinely, their work and conduct was satisfactory during past service as ReTs and in this regard they have to seek a certificate from Village Education Committee concerned in association with respective ZEO/ Head of Institution/ CEO as the case may be.
The order further says moreover the ReTs have to also ensure before the regularization that they posses the minimum prescribed qualification for engagement at the time of their initial appointment as ReTs through J&K Board of School Education/University or any other recognized Board or university. They have to ensure that they have not obtained any qualification/degree through study centre distance mode.
The ReTs seeking regularization have to also ensure that they were not on the roll of any college or institute during the five years of honorarium service. Besides CEO/DDO concerned has to ensure that the maternity leave, if any, availed by the female ReTs during five years honorarium service should be entered in service book of such ReTs who are being considered for regularization.
The CEO concerned have to remain personally responsible in verifying the documents and certificates. The Government has made it clear that in case any certificate/ document furnished by the appointees will be proved fake or fictitious the order of appointment/ regularization will be cancelled.
The order further says that the ReTs so regularized will not be transferred .
