UDHAMPUR, Oct 15: In a major action under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, the police has attached a moveable property worth approximately Rs 16 lakhs belonging to drug peddler hailing from district Doda.
Identified as Mohd Arif, son of Mohd Ayoub, son of Birshella, Tehsil and District Doda, action has been taken under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act.
The attached/seized property includes one Innova car valued approximately Rs 16,00,000.
The attachment order was issued by the investigating officer during the course of investigation of case FIR No. 145/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act after it was established that the said vehicle had been acquired from the proceeds of crime related to the offence.
