UDHAMPUR, Dec 15: Udhampur Police today attached an alleged drug peddler’s immovable property worth Rs 35 lakhs.
The immovable property, a residential house, belonging to Makhan Din, son of Hukam Din, of Samroli, Narsoo, Udhampur was attached under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act, in connection with FIR No. 188/2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of Police Station Chenani.
The attached property comprises a residential house built on land under Khasra No. 746/485/315 measuring five Marlas, situated at Narsoo, Udhampur.
During the course of investigation, detailed financial scrutiny and backward link analysis revealed that the accused had acquired the said immovable property through proceeds of narcotics. Based on these findings, the competent authority passed the attachment order for further legal proceedings.
