Drug peddlers arrested with brown sugar, charas

JAMMU, Apr 8: Gandhi Nagar police arrested two drug peddlers along with brown sugar and charas.
As per police sources, a team from Gandhi Nagar police station conducted raid in Narwal Pain area near Satwari and arrested a habitual drug peddler along with 3 grams brown sugar.
The accused has been identified as Rakesh Kumar alias Neetu, son of Mangal Singh, a resident of Narwal Pain near Satwari.
A case under FIR Number 86/16 under Section 8/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Gandhi Nagar police station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a team from Gandhi Nagar police station also arrested a man along with 65 grams charas from Ware House area.
The accused has been identified as Vishal Sharma, son of Om Parkash of Kalakot, district Rajouri.
A case under NDPS Act has been registered at Gandhi Nagar police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gandhi Nagar police station DySP (P) Mir Imtiyaz and Incharge Nehru Market police post SI Balram Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Gandhi Nagar Sachin Gupta and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
