KATHUA, Jan 21: The police arrested a drug -peddler and recovered about 2 kg of poppy straw ( Bukki) from his possession in Billawar area today.
A police spokesman said that during routine naka, a police party intercepted one Parshotam Lal alias Soni, son of Late Babu Singh at Dralata and during frisking recovered nearly 1850 gms `bukki’ from his possession. The police arrested him and registered a case in this connection.
