UDHAMPUR, Aug 30: Udhampur Police apprehended a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
During a special naka checking duty near Baley Bridge, Roun Domail, a police party of PP Roun Domail intercepted one person coming from Udhampur towards Roun Domail. On his personal search, 03.30 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered the accused, identified as Shubham Prashar alias Cobra, son of Ravinder Sharma, resident of Roun Domail, Udhampur.
In this connection, FIR No. 318/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur and further investigation is going on.
