JAMMU, Mar 15: An alleged drug peddler was arrested with 4.54 grams of heroin-like substance in Gajansoo area here today, officials said.
The accused individual, identified as Abhi Kumar of Ghou Manhassan was arrested with the consignment by a team of Border Police Post Gajansoo under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kanchack during routine patrolling duty near the Ring Road Service Lane adjoining Gajansoo area, they said.
Accordingly, the accused individual has been booked in case FIR number 39/2026 under sections 88/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Kanchak and further investigation taken up, officials said.
