JAMMU, Mar 13: An alleged drug peddler was arrested with 8 grams of heroin-like substance from Tallab Tillo area here today, officials said.
Satyam Kumar of Hajuri Bagh, Colonel Colony, Jammu, was arrested from Kabir Colony area with the consignment during a joint patrolling operation of Police Post Tallab Tillo and District Special Branch Jammu, they said.
According to them, the accused has been accordingly booked in case FIR number 47/2026 under the relevant sections of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985 and further investigation taken up.
