JAMMU, May 27: Police in Jammu’s Narwal area today claimed they have arrested a drug peddler with 5 grams of heroin and Rs 2.75 lakh cash.
Jonny Kumar of Rajeev Nagar, Jammu, was arrested with the contraband and cash by a patrolling team of Police Station Bahu Fort led by Inspector Rajesh Jasrotia, SHO Bahu Fort and PSO Parshotam Singh, incharge Police Post Narwal under the supervision of SDPO City East Sheezan Bhat and SP South Ajay Sharma, a police official said.
According to him, the accused has been booked in case FIR number 167/2025 under sections 8/21/22/27A NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and further investigation taken up.
