SAMBA, Jan 15: A drug peddler was arrested with 5.05 grams of heroin-like-substance and cash from Vijaypur area here today.
Kagho of Rakh Barotian, tehsil Vijaypur, district Samba, was arrested with the consignment and Rs 5000 cash by a team of Police Station Vijaypur from near AIIMS Vijaypur.
Accordingly, he was booked in case FIR number 07/2025 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Vijaypur and further investigation taken up.
The arrest and seizure was made by a team of Police Station Vijaypur led by SHO concerned under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur and overall supervision of SSP Samba Varinder Manhas.
