JAMMU, Mar 7: A drug peddler was arrested with 6.37 grams of heroin-like substance from Sidhra area here today.
Officials said the accused, identified as Shabeeek Ahmed of Kheri Ladey, Udhampur, was arrested with the consignment during naka checking at Dengyali Road, Sidhra.
He was accordingly booked in case FIR number 66/2026 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Nagrota and further investigation taken up, they said.
