JAMMU, May 13: A drug peddler was arrested with heroin-like-substance in RS Pura area here today.
Javed Ahmed of Tanda, tehsil RS Pura, district Jammu, was arrested with the consignment by a team of RS Pura Police Station during routine patrolling duty from the vicinity of Runu National School near Tanda Road, a police official said.
The accused has been accordingly booked in case FIR number 89/2025 under sections 8/20/21 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station RS Pura and further investigation taken up, he said.
