RAJOURI, Dec 2: The police arrested a drug-peddler and recovered some quantity of heroin from his possession in Thannamandi area today.
Official sources said that a police team from Thanamandi Station led by PSI Fida Hussain, under the supervision of SDPO Thannamandi, Paropkar Singh apprehended a drug-peddler namely- Noshad Ahmed alias Shada, son of Abdul Qayoom, resident of Hasplote, in Tehsil Thanamandi, in District Rajouri, at Rajdhani village on Tuesday and recovered 5.25 grams of heroin from his possession.
A case FIR No. 164/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Thanamandi against him. The police has launched investigation into the matter.
