UDHAMPUR, Nov 20: Police arrested a drug peddler from Roun and recovered 5.84 grams of heroin from his possession.
While performing routine naka checking near Dudhar Bridge, a Police team of PP Roun intercepted a person travelling from Manwal towards Udhampur. During his personal search, 5.84 grams of heroin was recovered. He was arrested on the spot.
On questioning, he disclosed his identity as Sahil Singh son of Rashpaul Singh of Roun, Udhampur. In this regard, FIR No. 399/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur, and further investigation has been taken up.
