NOWSHERA, May 17: The police nabbed a drug-peddler and recovered some quantity of heroin from his possession in Nowshera area today.
Official sources said that a police party from Police Station Nowshera led by Station House Officer Inspector Arjun Magotra under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera, Sahil Mahajan, during checking apprehended one person who was on his way from Siot side towards Lamberi on-foot. During questioning he disclosed his name as Inderjeet alias Kala son of Mohinder Paul from Ward No. 4, Nowshera.
Upon conducting his personal search 07 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 60/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS ACT has been registered at Police Station Nowshera, and further investigation is underway to uncover potential links to a larger drug network.
