UDHAMPUR, May 14: The police nabbed a drug-peddler in Tikri area of Udhampur and recovered some quantity of heroin from his possession.
Official sources said that a police team from Tikri Police Post while patrolling at Bansal Morh intercepted one suspicious person who was coming from Katra side towards Tikri on foot, On frisking the person namely- Arjun Singh, son of Ram Saran, resident of Panthal, Tehsil Katra, the police recovered some quantity (5 gms) of heroin from his possession.
He has been arrested and a case FIR No. 64/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act registered against him in Police Station Rehmbal. Further, investigation was in progress.
