UDHAMPUR, Jan 22: A team of Police Post Tikri during patrolling at Tikri intercepted a suspicious person, who on seeing police party tried to escape from the spot but was apprehended by the police party.
On frisking of said person namely, Mohd Asif son of Sanak Mohd of Hartayan, Rehambal, Udhampur, the police recovered 7.45 grams of heroin (Chitta) like Contraband substance from the accused person.
He was arrested on the spot.
On this, a case vide FIR No. 14/2025 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Rehambal.
