JAMMU, Aug 10: A drug peddler was arrested with 12 grams of heroin and a weighing machine in RS Pura area here today.
During routine patrolling near Khamb area close to Power Grid Station, RS Pura, one Nishan Singh of Old Diwangarh, tehsil Suchetgarh, district Jammu, was arrested by a team of Police Station RS Pura led by PSI Affan Nazir of Police Station RS Pura, a police official said.
Accordingly, the accused was booked in case FIR number 169/2025 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station RS Pura and further investigation taken up to trace the source of the narcotics and identify potential links in the supply network.
