Drug peddler held with 10 gm heroin-like-substance

SAMBA, June 11: An alleged drug peddler was arrested with 10 grams of heroin-like-substance from Vijaypur area here today.
Mohammad Jamal of West Bengal at present Ranibagh, Satwari, Jammu, was arrested with the consignment during naka checking near Hotel 17 Miles in Vijaypur area, said a police official.
Accordingly, he said, the accused was booked in case FIR number 64/2025 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Vijaypur and further investigation started.
