RAJOURI, Mar 16: A notorious drug-peddler was arrested in Thannamandi area and some quantity of heroin was recovered from his possession.
Official sources said that a team from Police Station Thannamandi led by SHO, arrested one Mohd Tahir Naik, son of Abdul Salam Naik, resident of Kote Behrote, Thannamandi. During his personal search 6.30 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 34/2025 under Sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Thannamandi. Further investigation was in progress.
