Srinagar, Dec 6: Police today said it have arrested a drug peddler and recovered 400 gram charas from his possession in north Kashmir’s Sopore Town of Baramulla district.
A police official said during a checking near Railway Crossing at Amargarh in Sopore, a drug peddler identified as Farooq Ahmad Mir was held. He said about 400 grams of charas was recovered from his possession.
A case under FIR number 133/2015 under section 8/20 NDPS has been registered in police station Tarzoo and the probe has been started, the official added.
