UDHAMPUR, Jan 2: Police arrested a drug peddler from Rakh Badali area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Udhampur and recovered contraband (heroine like substance) from his possession.
The accused person, namely Mohd Zakif, son of Mohd Aslam of Rakh Badali, was apprehended by a Police team, led by SHO Udhampur Raghuvir Singh. During frisking, 5.60 grams of heroin like substance was recovered from his possession.
A case FIR No. 02/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered in this connection at PS Udhampur. Further investigation of the case is going on.
