JAMMU, Apr 14: RS Pura police arrested a drug peddler and a bootlegger.
As per police sources, a team from RS Pura police station during checking at Taikaria intercepted an Innova car.
During checking, police recovered 15 grams heroin and one electronic weighing machine from the police and arrested the driver on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Raman Kumar, son of Thoru Ram, a resident of Ward Number 4, RS Pura.
Meanwhile, RS Pura police arrested a bootlegger also along with 75 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Om Prakash, son of Sardari Lal, a resident of Kotli Shah Dula.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered against the drug peddler and bootlegger at RS Pura police station and investigation started.
