RAMBAN, May 6: Police here today booked a notorious drug peddler under PIT NDPS Act. The drug peddler, Kali Singh, a resident of Kharkooni Damote tehsil, district Ramban was taken into preventive detention under the provisions of PIT NDPS Act for his repeated involvement in selling and distributing narcotics among the populace of Ramban and adjoining areas.
On the directions of SSP Ramban, Kulbir Singh a dossier was prepared and submitted to the competent authority for approval. Subsequently, the case was duly processed and after obtaining the sanction, the drug peddler was detained under PIT NDPS Act and lodged in District Jail Udhampur.
