JAMMU, June 4: Miran Sahib Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 8 grams heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station led by SHO SI Gurupal Singh laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 8 grams heroin and Rs 2000 cash from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Tajinder Singh alias Happy, son of Mohinder Singh, a resident of Ward Number 4, Simbal Camp.
A case under FIR Number 76/19 under section 8/21/22/27-A/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Miran Sahib Police Station and investigation started.
