UDHAMPUR, Jan 20: Police arrested a drug peddler in Roundomail area and seized 6.52 grams of heroin like substance from his possession.
Police Team of Police Post Roundomail, while performing patrolling duty at Jaganoo-dalphar area, intercepted one suspicious person, who on seeing police party tried to escape from the spot but was apprehended.
On frisking of the apprehended person, namely Waseem, son of Abdul Rashid of Jakhani, Udhampur, Police team recovered 6.52 grams of heroin like contraband substance, following which he was arrested.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 29/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Udhampur.
