UDHAMPUR, Aug 19: Police arrested a drug peddler from Tikri and recovered 5.17 grams of heroin like substance from his possession.
Patrolling team of Police Post Tikri intercepted the accused who was coming from Manthal side and moving towards Tikri on foot. Upon frisking of the said person, namely Ajay Kumar alias Ajju, son of Goga Ram, resident of Mand, Tikri, Udhampur, Police team recovered 5.17 grams of heroin like contraband substance from his possession.
In this regard, a case FIR number 130/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Rehambal. Further investigation of the case is underway.
