UDHAMPUR, July 26: Udhampur Police apprehended a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
Police team of Police Post Ghordi apprehended Ram Dutt, son of Ramesh Kumar of Barmeen, Tehsil Ramnagar, District Udhampur when he was riding his bike JK14L-3367.
On his personal search, 23 grams of marijuana like narcotic substance was recovered from his possession. Following this, police arrested the accused and seized his bike. In this connection, a case FIR number 118/2025, under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Ramnagar and further investigation has been initiated.
