UDHAMPUR, July 8: Police arrested a drug peddler in Roundomail area and recovered 5.81 grams of heroin like substance from his possession.
Police Team of Police Post Roundomail, while performing patrolling duty near Tawi Bridge , intercepted the accused who was travelling on foot from Udhampur towards Krowa Jaganoo.
On frisking of the accused, identified as Arun Choudhary, son of Sultaz Parvez, resident of Krowa Udhampur Police recovered 5.81 grams of heroin like contraband substance from his possession following which he was arrested on the spot.
