UDHAMPUR, May 17: Police arrested a notorious drug peddler near Railway Station Udhampur and recovered heroin like substance from his posession.
A Police team from Police Station Udhampur, led by SHO Raghuvir Singh apprehended the accused when he tried to hide himself from the cops thus creating suspicion.
Upon conducting his thorough frisking, police team recovered 4.50 grams of heroin like contraband substance from the possession of the apprehended person, identified as Rahul Kumar, son of Rattan Lal of Champari, Tehsil Chenani.
A case vide FIR No. 173/2025 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act has been registered in this connection at P/S Udhampur.
