UDHAMPUR, Dec 25: A Drug peddler absconding for the last five years, has been arrested by Police Station Udhampur.
The arrested absconder, namely Akhter Hussain, son of Mohd Ayoub, resident of Sial Sallan Udhampur, District Udhampur, was wanted in case FIR No. 576/2020 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act registered at PS Udhampur. An arrest warrant under Section 299 CrPC was issued by the Additional Sessions Court Udhampur in order to bring the absconder to justice.
Acting on the warrant, the police team of PS Udhampur arrested the said absconder and produced him before the court after which he was lodged in District Jail Udhampur.
