JAMMU, Aug 21: A drone was spotted by locals in border area of Gajansoo in this district today afternoon, prompting security agencies to launch a search operation.

Residents reported the sighting to security agencies around 4 pm in Gajansoo border area.
Police and other security forces immediately launched a search operation in the area, the officials said.
A senior officer said it is not yet clear whether the drone originated from this side or across the border. Investigation into the matter is underway.
