KATHUA, Nov 5: A truck driver was knocked to death at Excise Yard Lakhanpur late last night when he was trying to open the wheel of his truck which was busted.
As he was trying to open the wheel from the truck another truck bearing number PV06D2368 came from back side and knocked him down resulting into his instant death.
The deceased has been identified as Kulbeer Singh, 60 of Ferozpur Punjab.
However after the accident the truck driver turned his vehicle in the darkness of night and fled back to Punjab evading the arrest by police. The Lakhanpur Police has registered a case under Section 304 and started the man hunt for driver.
