RAMBAN, Mar 7: A truck driver was killed while his helper sustained injuries after their vehicle hit a stranded vehicle inside Banihal-Qazigund tunnel last night.
Police sources said that a truck while on its way to Jammu from Kashmir hit another stranded trucks inside the tunnel leaving two persons injured.
Both the injured were rushed to Sub District Hospital Banihal where one of them was declared dead by the doctors.
Police identified the deceased as driver, Sukhdev Singh, 30, son of Bakhtwar Singh, resident of Pallipora, Punjab.
The injured was identified as Jaswinder Singh, 26, resident of Punjab.
