DODA, Apr 28: A driver was killed when the dumper he was driving rolled down in deep gorge near Shaneaye area of Bhalla, here today.
As per police sources, a dumper without registration number was on its way to Doda from Bhaderwah, when the driver lost control over it and the vehicles rolled down into deep gorge near Shaneaye area of Bhalla, resulting into on the spot death of the driver.
The deceased has been identified as Salam Din, son of Shabaz Khan, a resident of Barshalla District Doda.
After conducting post-mortem at SDH Bhaderwah, the body of the deceased has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Bhalla Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
