RAJOURI, July 31: The driver was killed on the spot after a dumper skidded off the road and fell into the river in Budhal area of Rajouri district today.
Reports said a landslide had occurred on the road due to the rain during last night near Lower Kewal village. Some portion of the road was affected with it. A dumper bearing registration number JK11F 7916 skidding off the road and rolled down nearly 100 meters into the river, resulting in on the spot death of the driver, Mohammad Sarfaraz, 22, son of Mohammad Arif, resident of Dhaleri, Khawas.
The body was later shifted to Budhal hospital. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
