JAMMU, Nov 18: Dance Revolution Academy (DRA) today opened its branch at Trikuta Deep High School, Talli Morh, Janipur (Jammu).
Vikul Gupta, chairman, Arivan Group and State Analyst was the chief guest on the occasion while Hitesh Badyal, president, Nirvana Academy, was the guest of honour.
Sanjeev Mangotra, Dance Choreographer commenced the programme with the welcome speech. He said the branch of the Academy is being opened at Trikuta Deep High School to train children in Kathak, folk and modern dance.
He added that DRA is the only institute in Jammu which is providing training in classical dance, regional dance as well modern dance under one banner. He also disclosed that DRA is organizing a dance and kids modeling competition in the month of December.
A dance programme was also presented on the occasion in which students of Trikuta Deep High School and winners of Jammu Dance Icons performed.
Kiran and group presented Dogri dance on the song “Surma nima nima” followed by a stunning performance by Kashish Thakyal, young and leading dance performer of Jammu.
