JAMMU, Feb 3: Dr V P Gupta has been elected as Patron of Regional Chapter of Academy of Hospital Administration during a General Body Meeting held here today.
As per the handout, Dr V P Gupta, former Secretary Health and Ex-Director Health Services Jammu was elected as Patron while Dr Abdul Rashid, Labour Commissioner, Secretary to Government Information Depart-ment and Science and Technology Department, was elected as Regional President during the General Body Meeting.
Dr Yashpal Sharma, Registrar Academics Government Medical College-Jammu was elected as Regional Executive Director.
The Jammu Chapter is represented by persons of proven track record in the field of Health and Hospital Administration.
It further said that Dr Jatinder Mehta, Programme Officer NHM J&K was elected as Regional Secretary, Dr Ramesh Gupta, Ex-Medical Superintendent, Govern-ment Medical College, Jammu as Regional Finance Secretary. Dr Jasbir Singh, Ex-Director Health Services, Jammu, Dr Rakesh Khajuria, Ex-Director, Family Welfare J&K, Dr Satish Sharma Ex-Medical Superinten-dent, SMGS Hospital and Dr Dara Singh, Medical Superintendent Government Medical College, Jammu and Dr V K Gupta were elected as the members of the Executive Committee.
