Dr Sushil holds free cardiac health camp at Home for Aged & Infirm

JAMMU, Jan 4: A comprehensive free cardiac health camp was organized today at the Home for the Aged & Infirm (Vridh Ashram), Ambphalla, providing vital medical services to elderly inmates, staff and visitors.
The medical team was led by Dr Sushil Sharma, HoD Cardiology, Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu, and included Dr Venkatesh Yellupu, Dr Aditya Sharma, along with a dedicated team of paramedics and volunteers.
During the visit, the team conducted a detailed round of both residential blocks of the Home along with Pankaj Gupta and Dr Dinesh Gupta, president and secretary of the Home respectively, and committee members Satpal Sharma and Rajinder Singh.
Approximately 70 individuals, including inmates, staff members, and visitors, were thoroughly examined during the camp. Essential medical investigations such as laboratory tests and ECGs were conducted, and required medicines were distributed. All consultations, tests, and medications were provided completely free of cost.
The management committee expressed gratitude to Dr Sushil Sharma and his team for sparing their valuable time and rendering selfless service.
On the occasion, a group photograph with the inmates and visiting team was also taken, marking the event as a memorable and meaningful gesture of care and community service.
