Dr Sudhaa, Dr Annil attend WZ-IMSCON at Bhopal

JAMMU, Oct 14: Dr Sudhaa Sharma, President Jammu Menopause Society & Dr Annil Mahajan, Chief Editor JMH (Journal Midlife Health) of Indian Menopause Society had the honour of being invited as Faculty in West Zone Indian Menopause Society Conference (WZIMSCON) at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
Dr Sudhaa, a noted Gynaecologist, in her presentation on (Psychosomatic Problems in Menopause), highlighted that vasomoter symptoms – hot flushes, night sweats, insomnia,aches and pains, urogenital & sexual problems, psychosis, depression & many more can affect the day to day life of a menopausal woman.
Dr Sudhaa emphasised that simple life style modifications like good exercise, yoga, meditation & avoidance of excessive tea, coffee, alcohol, smoking, spices can reduce all the symptoms to a greater extent. However few may require drugs as treatment.
Dr Annil Mahajan, noted Physician and Rheumatologist chaired a session in this conference.
Earlier also, Dr Sudhaa & Dr Mahajan addressed on ‘Aging Gracefully & Osteoporosis’ respectively in SZIMSCON (Hyderabad) and other medical disorders in Menopause in NZIMSCON (Jallandhar) .
Dr Mahajan as Editor- In-Chief JMH ( Journal of Midlife Health) of IMS highlighted the growth of the Journal with various national & International indexing agencies including PUBMED.
