BANI, Jan 6: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Bani, Dr Rameshwar Singh, today laid the foundation stone for a new building at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Bani.
As per a statement, the project, worth Rs 1.5 crore, will include an Outpatient Department (OPD) complex, parking area, and a conference hall.
The funding for the project has been provided by the NHPC Department, which approved the necessary funds to address the long-pending demand of the Bani constituency.
Speaking at the event, Dr Rameshwar thanked NHPC for their support and assured the public that the work will be completed with full dedication and transparency.
“This initiative is an important step in fulfilling the needs of the people of Bani,” he said.
He also emphasized his commitment to improving the lives of people in remote and hilly areas and promised to continue prioritizing their concerns.
Dr Rameshwar reiterated that efforts will be made to complete projects on time.
Dr Dev Raj, Block Medical Officer of Bani, thanked NHPC and Dr Rameshwar for their efforts. He also presented additional health facility needs for consideration.
District Development Council (DDC) member Reeta Devi attended the event and praised the efforts to enhance healthcare in the region.
Local residents were excited about the new facilities and expressed optimism about improved healthcare services in the area.
