JAMMU Jan 3: Dr Rahul Gupta, an eminent Urologist of GMC & SSH Jammu has been nominated to Editorial Board of prestigious Indian Urology journal for a period of 3 years starting this January. It is the highest level academic journal published by Urology fraternity in India.
Dr. Gupta’s nomination recognizes his outstanding academic and clinical contributions to Urology, particularly in endourology, renal stone surgery and urological education. This is believed to be the first time a specialist from Jammu and Kashmir has been selected for such a distinguished role in national urology publishing and teaching forums.
Dr. Gupta previously served on the Endourology subsection board of the Urological Society of India and as a council member of the North Zone Urology Society of India-roles that underscore his longstanding involvement in advancing urological practice and research across India’s northern region.
He thanked principal GMC Dr Ashutosh Gupta, HoD and his colleagues for their unwavering support.
