JAMMU, Mar 6: A book titled “Dogri Lok Gathan – Saroop Te Vishleshan” authored by Dr Nasib Singh Manhas was released in an impressive function organised by Dogri Department of Jammu University in Panjabi Department of Jammu University.
Chief guest was Bharat Singh Manhas, Secretary J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages, while Mohan Singh presided over the function. Prof Veena Gupta, former Head Dogri, Dr Om Goswami Renowned writer/former Chief Editor J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages were guests of the occasion.
This book released in unique style is dedicated by the writer to his teacher/guide Prof Veena Gupta and his mentor in Literature Dr Goswami.
Prof Sucheta, HoD Dogri welcomed the invited guests, elite and audience in Hall.
Dr Nasib Singh Manhas , author of the book presented a brief note on book and his Journey of his career.
Prof Veena Gupta while addressing the podium highlighted the importance of book and achievements of the Author.
Dr Om Goswami in his address put light on beginning days of Dogri literature and commencement of Dogri Department.
