JAMMU, Dec 28: In a remarkable display of medical expertise, Dr Rohit Lahori, a renowned pain specialist of Jammu & Kashmir and National Treasurer of the Indian Society for Study of Pain, has successfully performed Vertebroplasty procedures on two elderly patients suffering from spinal fractures at Pulse Hospital, Jammu.

Vertebroplasty is a minimally invasive procedure where bone cement is injected into the fractured segment of the vertebrae under local anesthesia. These advance procedures in pain medicine, he said, are the testament to the advancements in pain management and spinal care in J&K. He said Vertebroplasty is a breakthrough treatment option for patients with spinal fractures, offering them a chance to regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
