Dr Kshama Kaul delivers lecture on life in exile at MGAHU

JAMMU, Jan 13: In a grand literary function organised by the Mahatma Gandhi Antar-Rashtriya Hindi University (MGAHU) Wardha, Maharashtra Kshama Kaul Hindi novelist , poet and thinker spoke about her life in exile. Besides her two other authors, Dr Sachidanand Joshi and Bhushan Bhawe also spoke on the subject.
‘Dardpur’ fame Dr Kshama Kaul while expressing her deep concern over the genocide and denial of genocide of her community in their own country said it amounts to de-Sanskritizaton of Kashmir which has been fountain head of Indian Civilization since times immemorial. This concern is at the core of Literature in Exile which in essence is Indian Genocidal literature from Kashmiri Pandit Survivors of Genocide that took place in 1989-90.
Dr.Kshama Kaul apprised the audience that huge fund of creative literature has been produced by Kashmiri Pandit litterateurs in Hindi, Kashmiri, English in exile which has added new dimension to whole Indian Literature at large.
Dr Kaul laid emphasis on urgency of translating this literature in various languages so that this suppressed aspect of Kashmiri Pandits Genocide is known to the world conscience.
She, while appreciating ongoing efforts by academia across the country to highlight the ancient Indian Knowledge system i.g.Bharatiya Gyan Parampara, took a dig at the considered silence about Kashmir the origin of this Bharatiya Gyaan Parampara.
She expressed her concern and sought attention of the audience towards the possible clash of civilizational conflict at global level and appealed to writers and artists fraternity to use all their creative genres in defence of humanity in general and Indian masses in particular. She laid emphasis on cautioning the people against the undercurrents of communally motivated anti-national forces active in the country.
Among others who graced the function included Prof Kumud Sharma the Vice Chanceller of the MGAHU, Dr Sachidanad Joshi,Bhushan Bhave,Prof Kripa Shankar Chaube, Dr. Anand Bharti, Dr.Amit viswas and Dr.Rakesh Mishra.
