Dr Itoo inducted as IDF Fellow

JAMMU, July 21: Kashmiri doctor and columnist, Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo has been inducted as a fellow of the prestigious International Diabetes Federation (IDF).
The IDF Fellowship acknowledges Dr Itoo’s contributions in promoting diabetes care, education and advocacy in the community. The IDF Fellow is an honorary title awarded to healthcare professionals working in the field of diabetes. IDF Fellows may be called upon to participate in the activities of the Federation, from conferences and research to education and advocacy.
Dr Itoo also holds “Academic Life Membership’ from Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India(RSSDI), the top national diabetes research organization and leading scientific authority of diabetologists in India.
He is further affiliated with prestigious organizations including the American College of Physicians (USA), Royal College of Physicians of London, and Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
Pertinently, the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) headquartered in Brussels, Belgium — is a global alliance of over 250 national diabetes associations from more than 160 countries and territories.
