JAMMU, Nov 26: An eminent J&K doctor, Public Health Expert, Medical Educator and writer, Dr. Tasaduk Hussain Itoo, has been awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Academy of Medical Educators, United Kingdom.
The Fellowship recognizes Dr. Itoo’s outstanding contributions to medical education, leadership and commitment to advancing excellence in teaching and learning process as a medico cum educator.
The Academy of Medical Educators (AoME) is the multi-professional organisation for all those involved in medical education. AoME exists to provide leadership, promote standards and support all those involved in the academic discipline and practice of medical education. Fellowship of the Academy represents a significant mark of professional recognition for sustained excellence and scholarly contribution in medical education.
Pertinently, Dr Itoo is a distinguished Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH), UK, Fellow of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF Fellow, Belgium) and International Practitioner of the UK Faculty of Public Health. He is also a member of leading global medical organizations including the American College of Physicians (USA) and Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India.
