Dr Harleen honoured with Lifetime Achievers Award

JAMMU, Mar 27: Dr Harleen Kaur, senior microbiologist at Government Medical College Jammu, has been conferred the prestigious Lifetime Achievers Award by Bharat Vibhushan National Award and Grow Bharat Achiever (NAH Foundation) in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the field of microbiology and public health.
The honour comprises the Bharat Vibhushan Award, Atal Excellence Award, and Best Doctor of the Year Award. Dr Kaur’s exemplary service, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, has been widely acknowledged across the country. She played a crucial role in RT-PCR testing and demonstrated exceptional dedication and selfless commitment to society during the crisis.
The award was presented at an impressive function held in Udaipur by chief guest Lt Gen N K Singh, in the presence of Prashant Agarwal, Global president of Narayan Seva Sansthaan, and Prof (Col) S S Sargandewol, Vice Chancellor of JRN Rajasthan University.
Dr Kaur is also a recipient of several national and international accolades, including the United Kingdom Managers Award, Bharat Bhushan Award, and Nelson Mandela Brilliance Award. Notably, she risked her life twice while discharging her duties during the pandemic.
