JAMMU, Aug 24: Dr Deepak Abrol, Cancer Specialist from Jammu has received ‘CME Excellence Dronacharya Award’.
IHW Council Advisory Board comprising health experts, thought leaders and health policy doyens had selected his name for the prestigious CME Dronacharya Award. The award was given to Dr Abrol for his exemplary contribution towards continuing medical education in the field of Oncology.
The CME Excellence Awards were initiated by the IHW Council along with Omnicuris to recognize the contribution and excellent work of the doctors in improvising health outcomes in their area of expertise through CME. These awards are part of the CME Excellence Movement that the Council is spearheading to build a competent and quality healthcare workforce in India.
The award was conferred to Dr Abrol through a virtual ceremony today. The ceremony was attended by all advisory members of IHW council along with delegates from Governments, health institutions, industry and healthcare professionals.
In his address to the gathering, Dr Abrol said that the award will give him more courage and commitment to work with more dedication.
